Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium head Chinese cabbage (sliced)
  • 1 medium onion (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger (grated)
  • 2 green onions (sliced, for garnish)
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Step 1: Brown the Beef
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until fully browned.
Tip: Break it into small pieces as it cooks, and let it sit briefly without stirring to develop a slightly crisp edge.


Step 2: Add Aromatics
Stir in the chopped onion, garlic, and ginger. Cook for about 3–4 minutes until the onion softens and everything becomes fragrant.
